Let's Talk Early and Unintended pregnancy!

This booklet is aimed at helping young people better understand important issues in their life related to early and unintended pregnancy (EUP) – including puberty, contraception, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and relationships - and addresses frequently asked questions, fears, myths, and misconceptions.

The evidence for reducing teenage pregnancy is clear. Building the knowledge, skills, resilience, and aspirations of young people, and providing easy access to welcoming services, helps them to delay sex until they are ready to enjoy healthy, consensual relationships and practice safe sex to avoid not just pregnancy, but HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) as well. 

The information in this booklet will equip adolescents with the knowledge and skills they need to make these healthy decisions.
